MESI4SEN Project is a project carried out with the participation of 5 partner organizations in the Erasmus+ KA220-SCH – School Area cooperation partnership type. Some of the main aims and objectives of the project can be listed as follows:
To determine the educational difficulties faced by students with mild mental disabilities with special education needs, their families and teachers working with them and to develop an innovative ‘Common Individualized Education Curriculum’ that will enable us and our target audience, disadvantaged students and other groups, to have easier communication and access opportunities.
To prepare original course content prepared with digital content in their mother tongue and common language, supporting their daily life skills, self-care skills and academic success, and socio-cultural and individual development activities for our target group students.
To prepare and put into use an international e-platform (MOODLE LMS) where all the prepared content will be available.
To provide methodological education support to our target group teachers using Web 2.0 tools and to create a Teacher Training module
To ensure continuous content development of the education platform to be prepared thanks to open source code
To integrate the experiences and best practices of our partners into this project
To support and reduce the number of students receiving special education support who cannot participate in distance education; to reduce the number of students who cannot participate in individual development activities in this student group
To provide free and shareable content and support materials to the families of our target group students that will enable them to support their children more consciously after school.
To develop methods to make digital transformation and education accessible to everyone.
